Østhjælp – sorting and packing
We receive gladly both clothes, shoes, belts, material, linen, covers, pillows, blankets, toys, kitchen stuff, baby stuff, etc. Everything will be checked, washed if needed and small repairs will be done. After that everything will be sorted and packed in boxes.
Would you like to be a volunteer helper
Do you want to help people in need and in the same time be a part of a fellowship, where there is fun, heartfelt warmth, where we care for one another, then you are very welcome to contact Yvonne for more information. You will get training along the way and if you have special wishes we will find out. There are many different tasks that can be easily adapted to the individual. For us it is important that everyone feel welcome and are doing good. All work is voluntary. All what comes in goes to the receiving countries.
Every time we have a nice coffee break, where we share a word from the Bible, pray and enjoy something good to the coffee.
We sort and pack once a week, 3 hours at a time. Time and weekday are different. If you can’t be there all the time you are welcome to come the amount of time you can. We appreciate the time you have the opportunity to help. You will get the day & time by calling Yvonne, ph. 24482772. It is possible to be transported
to and from the packing place.
In the city of Brande behind Den Jyske Sparekasse on the parking lot we have a container to deliver clothes and shoes, etc. It is also possible to deliver clothes, shoes, etc. in the container at Alkærlundvej 3. With bigger donations you are welcome to contact H.C.: 21288670 or Yvonne: 24482771
We are also receiving hospital equipment, help equipment, school equipment, furniture, etc. Please contact: H.C. This is sorted and inspected in a larger hall.
